Simba's Santa Walk for Shiba Rescue
Simba's Santa Walk is a charity dog walk specially organized for the benefit of Shiba Rescue. An organization who mediates between (almost) homeless Japanese dogbreeds and a potential new home in a warm caring family.
Sunday december 13th 2015 the very first edition was held in the woods of Leende. A small town near Valkenswaard and in the shadow of Eindhoven.
As organisation we could not wish any better location for this real winter walk. While making the trail on this spot, we were pleasantly surprised by the picture what was presented to us. Because what else would you wish more than a forest full of pine trees for a dog walk fully in a Christmas atmosphere?! ...
A mixture of dense forests, beautiful water features and moorland will be seen during the walk. Simba's Adventures has tried to put down a so versatile possible route within a distance which is for everyone in their range. This makes the ' Santa Walk ' a true family event.
As absolute icing on top for this special winter dog walk and for making this into a hilarious event, each participating dog gets a real Santa hat to wear during the walking tour. Our regular house photographer, and student at the Grafisch Lyceum in Rotterdam, Shamira provided the pictures and video for capturing this unique event.
Major sponsor of this event is the well - known brand Farm Food who provides each sportive quadruped with a real goodie bag full of tasty, healthy snacks.
During the first Simba’s Santa Walk, Simba’s Adventures has may retrieve a beautiful amount of € 250,00.
For 2016, Simba's Santa Walk is planned on Sunday December 11th. More information about this charity walk can be requested by sending an e-mail to: info@simbasadventures.nl
